Hi folks, four of our seasoned Tumeke staff are changing life course, leaving Auckland and even New Zealand. So we need to reduce our workshop hours until we find replacements, crossing out Wednesdays starting December. That will bring our new hours to Thursdays 17:30–19:30 and Sundays 13:00–15:00.
See you then. And if you want to volunteer, inquire within!
Hi folks, our annual Spring fund raiser is now on, and it includes a raffle full of nifty prizes kindly donated by the Electric Bicycle Hub Auckland:
– Basil Postman Blossom Pannier (White)
– Basil Mara Pannier (Black)
– Basil Memories Bottle Basket (Green)
– Basil Memories Bottle Basket (Pink)
To enter the raffle, simply make a donation through our Givealittle page before 9 November. Every $10 dollars you donate gets you one chance to win. All proceeds go to supporting Tumeke Cycle Space, your community bicycle workshop 🙂
We’ll announce the winners here around 10 November.
P.S. Our Facebook ad for this event states that we need to move out of our space soon, because the building is being sold. New word on the street is that is not certain. Stay tuned.
Instead we’ll be helping at the Biketober event Saturday 28 October 10:00–14:00 at the Pt Chevalier Community Centre, 18 Huia Rd. See you there.
Or is it called Play Streets (http://ourauckland.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/media/10565/aaw-map.pdf)? Whatever the case, we’ll be closed Sunday and open down at Wynyard Quarter roughly between 10:00 and 15:00 Monday 30 January, Auckland Anniversary Day.
Hi folks, we’re back as of last Sunday but at slightly reduced hours until more of our volunteers return from vacation.
This January we are open Sundays (13:00–15:00) and Wednesdays (17:30–19:30).
See you around!
Tumeke Cycle Space is going on holiday soon. Our last workshop session for 2016 will be Sunday 18 December. After that we’ll reopen in 2017 on Sunday 8 January. Happy biking!
Hi all, our workshop will be closed this Sunday 12 June, because we’ll be at the Great Auckland Bike Market then 10:00–15:00 at The Cloud on Queen’s Wharf. So catch us there if you’d like to buy a bike or tune up your current one.
Sorry for the late notice, but our volunteers are sick.
