As a volunteer run organisation, we will be shutting down over Christmas and New Year. Our last day for 2015 will be Sunday 20th December. We will re-open again on Sunday 10th January. Have a terrific summer break full of cycling and bike love and we will see you all again in 2016!
The Bike Sale organised by Auckland Transport on Sunday 22/Nov was well covered by Tumeke volunteers. Finlay, Sanna, Andrew, Alex R, Mark, Alex M & Emilio were all there, selling bikes that had been donated and fixed up, talking to people about Tumeke, and dispensing advice. Hi all, Tumeke will be closed this Sunday 5th due to Easter. The following weekend we will also be down at ‘Open Streets’ along Quay Street from 10-4pm so come down and check out the event – a celebration of car free streets for cycling and walking.
