Tumeke Cycle Space is a not-for-profit do-it-with-others community bicycle workshop in Auckland.  It’s a place where people can fix, build, and learn about bikes in a safe and inclusive environment. We provide tools, knowledge, and training, with a focus on teaching people how to fix their own bikes. In this way we aim to empower people, encourage skill sharing, and promote cycling, an affordable, social form of transport that encourages a healthy lifestyle and environment.

We are located at GHub, 5 Cabbage Tree Swamp Drive, Gribblehirst Park, Sandringham, Auckland, 1025, New Zealand.

If you’d like to get in touch with us, you can email us at hello@tumekecyclespace.org.nz. You can also post on our Facebook page.

I’m interested in buying an electric assist step through li-ion powered bike. In Aust the max power appears to be 200w. Same here? Any advice, recommendations?
