Tumeke Cycle Space is run completely and collectively by volunteers, and we’re always looking for new contributors. Would you like to help? No prior experience is necessary, just an enthusiasm to make a positive, grass-roots change to cycling in Auckland.
Some of the things we do at Tumeke are:
- Help people fix their own bikes
- Run bike tutorials
- Plan and attend community events, such as film nights and eco festivals
- Make art
- Write funding proposals
- Manage this website
- Collaborate with local businesses
If you’d like to contribute in any of those or other ways, we’d love to have you. Come by the shop during open hours or email us. Thanks!
tried to send this to this address (tumekecyclepsace@gmail.com) but it didn’t work?
hi
I am moving to Sydney 🙁 and have a box of bike bits that I would like to donate to you 🙂
I would like to try and bring it in on sunday, but it I don’t make it can I arrange to drop it off sometime?
cheers
Phill
Hey Phil,
tumekecyclespace@gmail.com should work! Unless you misspelled something. Anyway, what’s in your box bits? We try to take stuff that isn’t too ‘crap’, not to put you off as such, as we get donated a lot of stuff and at times we get more junk than anything useful. Anyway, you are welcome to roll over Sunday and somebody should be there! Otherwise you can text me directly on 02102577066 or email me on ewenyu@gmail.com
Cheers
Ewen
Behalf of TCS
FYI, there’s a typo in the email address at the top of the page…
Hey Ewen,
Phil didn’t misspell the address, he typed it exactly as it was shown to him(check above his message). I assume tumekecyclespace@gmail.com does work but that isn’t what this webpage has as the addy(s&p are switched)…
Hey thanks for letting us know Thomas! It’s website issue, which unfortunately I’m no good at. Anyway, Thomas are apart of the Tangleball crew? Just interested to hear how you heard about us and if ever pop down to TCS? 🙂
Just found out, the email address had a typo! Thank for pointing it out.
